Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 head organic romaine lettuce, chopped
- 3-4 stalks organic celery
- 1/2 head of a large bunch or 3/4 of a small bunch of spinach
- 1 organic apple, cored and chopped
- 1 organic pear, cored and chopped
- 1 organic banana
- Juice of 1/2 fresh organic lemon
- Optional: 1/3 bunch organic cilantro and 1/3 bunch organic parsley
Instructions:
Step 1. Blend chopped romaine with water
Add water, chopped heads of romaine, and spinach into the blender. Blend at a low speed until smooth.
Step 2. Add the apple, celery, and pear
Add chopped apple, celery, and pear. Then blend at high speed.
Step 3. Add banana
Add one banana and blend again.
Step 4. Lastly, add parsley, cilantro, and lemon juice
Finish with parsley, cilantro, and squeeze the lemon juice into the smoothie and blend again. Done! If this is your first time to taste this green glowing smoothie, you can start consuming 6 ounces, and then store the remaining in the freezer.
