Delectable Blueberry and Strawberry Frozen Dessert

I am always fond of connecting recipes to a memory. 🙂 And so for this specific frozen dessert recipe, here is our story. 🙂 We fondly call this blueberry and strawberry frozen dessert as the forgotten one. Why? Because last Memorial day’s feast, when we set up everything and let the kids help out with the preparation, I completely forgot that I already made this fruity dessert about 2 nights before. And you know how long we forgot about it? My youngest daughter discovered it 2 Sundays after that! 🙂 We had a good laugh and had to wait for quite a while for it to melt a litle bit before we could munch.

Anyhow, are you ready foodies? Let’s start!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Strawberries, fresh
  • 1 cup of Blueberries, fresh
  • 1 & 1/2 cup of Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup of Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of Sugar
  • 1 can of Sweetened Condensed Milk, 14 oz sized
  • 8 oz of Yogurt, any flavor
  • 2 cups of Mini Marshmallows

4. Push down to the bottom

Push the mixture down to the bottom of the baking dish with your hands.

5. Combine condensed milk and yogurt

Mix your milk and yogurt well with a spatula.

6. Add marshmallows

Add in marshmallows into the mixture.

7. Spread milk mixture over Graham mixture

8. Top with fruits

Arrange the strawberries and blueberries on top of the milk mixture.

9. Repeat steps 7 & 8, cover, and freeze

Make another layer with the same set, cover it with plastic and then set aside in the refrigerator to freeze. When you take it out, allow for several minutes for it to soften and then slice into squares. Serve and indulge! 🙂

This frozen dessert is really good. I can still remember its creamy and refreshing feeling when I took my first bite. I am out of words and utterly breathless with its goodness.
