Tickle Your Family’s Tastebuds With This Sweet and Sour Pasta Salad Recipe With A Kick

I would like to describe this recipe as a simple procedure with an explosive taste. I almost forgot how much I loved to prepare this when I was expecting my eldest child. I just can’t seem to get enough of this!

And so to pass on a good deed, I’m making this for my cousin who is very much pregnant. We were very close growing up, having to throw our graduation party together and even tried going to a Coachella party once, dressed all hip and pretty. We were even each other’s summer festive fashion guru.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of Dry Shell Pasta
  • 3/4 cup of Pickles, diced
  • 2/3 cup of Cheddar Cheese, diced
  • 3 tbsps of White Onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsps of Fresh Dill
  • 1/2 cup of Pickle Juice

Dressing

  • 2/3 cup of Mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup of Sour Cream
  • 1/8 tsp of Cayenne Pepper
  • 4 tbsps of Pickle Juice
  • 1/4 tsp of Salt
  • 1/4 tsp of Pepper

Procedure

1. Cook Pasta

Cook the pasta to al dente and run water to keep its firm texture.



2. Slice Pickle and Cheese

Slice the pickles and the cheese into small cubes.

3. Prepare Dressing

Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, seasonings and pickle juice in one mixing bowl.

4. Marinate Pasta

Toss pasta with pickle juice for about 5 minutes.

5. Combine All Ingredients

Mix the ingredients and the dressing together until well combined.

6. Sprinkle and Serve

Sprinkle extra diced pickles and sliced dill to decorate.
