[RECIPE] 3 Super Easy Breakfast-in-a-Mug Recipes That Will Make You Energized

Brekky can be fast and delicious!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You need to eat a heavy meal in the morning to get you ready for the day. If you need a few minutes to get you going, here are 3 easy breakfasts you can make in a mug.

All you need to do is mix the ingredients altogether and toss the mug into the microwave. Check out the recipes from BuzzFeed Video below:


1. Blueberry Muffin

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Blueberries
  • Brown Sugar

Directions:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  1. Add 2 Tbsp milk, oil, and a pinch of baking soda.
  2. Mix them well then add the blueberries. Mix again.
  3. Add sugar, then microwave for 1 minute (times may vary).

And you’re done!

 



 

2. Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • Onions
  • Scallions
  • Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Diced tomatoes

Directions:

 

  1. Mix the following ingredients together:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • Onions
  • Scallions
  • Cheese
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

2. Add sugar, then microwave for 1 minute (times may vary).

3. Remove from the microwave, then add more cheese and diced tomatoes.

Dig in!

3. Banana Cinnamon Cake

Ingredients:

      • ½ banana
      • 2 Tsbp milk
      • ¼ tsp baking powder
      • Pinch of salt
      • 1 ½ Tsbp brown sugar
      • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
      • 5 Tbsp flour
      • ¾ tsp cinnamon
      • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
      • Confectioners’ sugar

 Directions:

 

1. Mash the sliced half banana in the mug.

2. Add the following to your mug:

  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • Baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • flour
  • cinnamon
  • vegetable oil
  • confectioners’ sugar

3. Mix the ingredients all together.

4. Toss your mug in the microwave and wait for 1 minute (times may vary).

5. Remove from the microwave and sprinkle confectioners’ sugar on top!
