Hot Season out, Cold season in; so, it’s time to prepare your best hot chocolate mix! This summer has endlessly made me prepare frozen desserts. So, I’m pretty sure this fall will keep me busy in the kitchen preparing meals that would keep my family all warmed up. A better way to keep them all warm and cozy is to have the best chocolate mix ready in the cupboard. But grown-ups don’t settle for an ordinary hot chocolate drink. Like my man, he wants more than just an ordinary hot choco when the evening gets chilly. If you have a husband like mine who wants his choco beverage spiked up, then this article is for you.

Want to learn how to make hot chocolate better? The simple answer: add equal parts booze and pizzazz.

One of my favorite winter activities is heading to the sofa with a hot cup of cocoa and curling up with a good book. It’s a great way to decompress from all the holiday seasons madness and take a few precious morsels of time just for me.

However, with my annual holiday party right around the corner, I wanted to be able to share my love for hot cocoa with guests. To give it a party kick, I decided to take my hot chocolate game to the next level with the addition of alcohol and sweet accouterments, like homemade Bailey’s whipped marshmallows.

Searching for boozy hot chocolate ideas, I came across a great curated list of recipes via BuzzFeed. Check it out or read on to see my absolute faves from the list.
