Let’s Get Edible and Make the Most Out of Your Rose Water Recipes

May 9, 2023 By Cathy Baker Leave a Comment

I can’t get Olivia Newton-John’s song out of my head right now (with some improv) that goes, “Let’s Get Edible! Edible!”. 😉 I apologize for passing on this LSS, but this was my mnemonic while at work to help me remember that I need to write an update with the latest rose water recipes.

Previously, I wrote a recipe on How to Make the Most Concentrated Rose Water Recipe You Ever Tasted, and now is the best time to put it to good use. Not only is it healthy, it also smells like roses (duh!) and it tastes simply good! Scroll down and take your fill of that “edible” curiosity.

Let’s Get Edible and Make the Most Out of Your Rose Water Recipes

26 Rose Water Recipes that will Lift Up your Health and Give your Palate a Sensational Experience!

As much as I can divulge to you, I’m the only one in the family who has gotten interested in making dishes out of roses. I have some saved rose water from my last recipe, and with those dreamy red lanterns that my husband made, which are hanging outside our bedroom, this sparked some inspiration.

And so, with this newly learned skill, I’ve become my family’s go-to-person when it comes to whipping up a delicious dish out of flower power. I make them as a gift, usually, so they can also taste what it’s like to have roses for dinner or for dessert. 🙂

I have tried giving my mother one of these rose water recipes as a Mothers’ Day gift. I gave one rose water recipe to my dad, too, for Fathers’ Day. There’s also one here that my family’s been going crazy over this summer, aside from iced tea. And I think you already know what this is. So how about we get started?

Didn’t get enough of that? Here’s a gorgeous tutorial video on how to make Rose Water Pudding by LEAF:

On that Mothers’ Day before the last one, I gave my mom a home-made beer and for Fathers’ Day, I gave my dad a quick makeup tutorial, for a bit of a twist. I didn’t know where my head was. 🙂 Compared to those, I think these rose recipe gifts really hit the jackpot.

Now, have you noticed that most of them are sweets? It only proves how “roses are sweet and violets are blue” are true, eh? 🙂 But seriously, roses are truly miraculous and delicious. And one last tip–for your safety, you must always use fresh roses, and not the ones sold in flower shops that are surely sprayed with pesticides and preservatives.
